Lola was a puppeteer since she could remember. She made her
name for improvising while performing. One glance at the audience was suficient
for her to construct a mental skeleton for a story, then to weave an action
around it. She was skilled beyond imagination, anyone agreed on that. She
had one problem, though. Her hands were always cold. That would make the
job impossible for many, but not for Lola. It was for two reasons: self esteem
and self efficacy. She could get over the problem and it felt good. She was
able to convince herself that stiff hands provide for more shaky movement,
thus the puppets looked really interesting in action. A glympse at her audience
helped to define the climate of interaction.
