Sica's profession was to walk dogs for people.
He always held handful of them in one hand. There were big, very big, tiny,
or small. He often had to carry the small ones, to protect them from the big
ones. Walking dogs on a big city streets, all covered with cement, would not
make much sense to him. He invented a system for renting apartments for people
with dogs. Those who have small dogs would rent apartments on the low numbered
floors. Those with big dogs were supposed to rent apartments on the top of
the building. Since the building did not have an elevator, the exercise was
coming quite natural. Each apartment was furnished exactly the same way, so
if someone’s dog grew up and needed more exercise, they could move up
to the higher floor.
