There was a problem with the non-sequential judging, although nothing was
set in stone. The jurors, Aaron, Al, Jen, Kirk, and Todd could never
agree. This is why the opera needed so many of them. Each one had different
criteria, beliefs, and preferences. Finally, they discovered a tactic
to be fair. Each one was submitting their own judging based on one of
the categories, respectively: 1. Quality of Sound, Flow and Melody 2.
Individuality 3. Technical Proficiency 4. Interpretation and Vision,
Innovation versus Tradition 5. Tempo, Pitch and Volume, Variation. The
scores still looked inconsistant.
