Robin was both a painter and a banjo player. He married
Irene as he liked her inventiveness and sense of proportion. Irene found
a giant–but-condemned
house on the hill that overlooked the entire city. She was able to fix
all the improper elements that were in violation with the city code and
the house gained in value immensely. Suddenly Robin had a studio overseeing
the area – with a 360-degree view. It was also a perfect house
for parties, used exactly to its expectations. They felt very rich, but
the cost of maintaining the house was way above their combined salaries,
and suddenly Robin realized his perfect dream studio space would not
work together with time restrictions, so he had
to go back to making more money. No more time for his studio work.
