He liked Tums. Not because he had problems with his stomach, but because he found them tasteful. Everyone teased him about looking like his gong, sounding like his gong, and even having a sense of humor related to it. Emil followed Dostoyevsky’s idea to look for topics from daily newspapers to base his novels on. But he converted them into sounds.

No object lacking sound is music. To be music, it is sufficient that an object have sound that it simply cannot be lacking.
