Greg had never played the glasses. He used to
be a timpani player and a Ph.D. student in music theory. He lost his
legs in combat shortly after he was drafted. During his long recovery
Greg searched through instruments carefully in order to find something
suitable for his condition and also deserving his interest. He chose
the glasses because he found them out of ordinary. In a hospital, he
learned to tune and play his first set of glasses. He found the sounds
they produce subtle and pleasant to the senses. David, the conductor along with the music historian Rudolph and the
composer Arthur, are trying to create new possibilities to include Greg's
talents in the concert programs. |
